Paynesville Neighbourhood Centre

Welcome to 2019.

Paynesville Neighbourhood Centre (PNC) Aspire Precinct Op Shop and Work Shed are opened between 10 am to 3 pm Monday to Thursday. We would like to thank the community (including businesses) who supported the program in 2018.

The team at the Aspire Precinct is pleased to report that a number of people received free outfits from the Op Shop for their job interview. PNC Op Shop participants were only too pleased to help find outfits for job seekers and in one case, the staff even ironed a shirt for a young man who had never worn a business shirt before. He was attending a job interview a hour later.

Feedback from job seekers included:
* they got the job
*wearing the clothing increased their self esteem
*compliments were paid at the job interview on the outfit that they were wearing
*they appreciate being able to keep the outfit
* the quality and range of clothing is really good.

Your purchases of Adult Casual or Wear (plus accessories) or furniture items made in our Work Shed (including planter boxes) enables the purchase of materials and hardware required to run both community programs.

You will find us on the Cnr Macleod and Ligar Streets, Bairnsdale. You can park in Macleod Street or drive in via Ligar Street and use the car park.. You wil be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the casual and workwear clothing and the furniture items made via PNC's Work Shed.

We are always on the lookout for quality casual or work wear or donations of furniture that can be up-scaled.
