OUR FOODBANK

Community Partnership

Paynesville’s Foodbank is supported by Bendigo Bank as part of their Community Partnership Sponsorship program.

We would like to thank Bendigo Bank for their continuing support.

Happy Valley Seeds is keen to collaborate and commit to supporting the local community. We realise the importance of local food security and how community gardening can contribute to self-sufficiency and the sustainability aspect of growing local produce, thereby reducing the carbon footprint associated with long-distance transportation.

Donating seeds for the foodbank program is our pleasure.

WHAT IS FOODBANK?

Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front line charities who are feeding vulnerable Australians. Foodbank provides more than 70% of the food rescued for food relief organisations nation-wide.
